About Career

Are you fascinated by Space? Does the infinity of the universe amaze you? Would you like to study stars, moon, sun, and other celestial bodies? If yes, you should consider astronomy as your career path!

Astronomy is one of the oldest sciences. In ancient days, astronomers use to carry out observation of the night sky to make predictions about the celestial objects. Astronomy is the scientific study of stars, planets, comets, and galaxies, generally known as the celestial bodies. It is also the study of all the phenomena outside earth’s atmosphere. It integrates the knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, evolution, the motion of celestial objects, and meteorology.

Examples: Galileo Galilei, Giovanni Cassini, Christiaan Huygens,  Sir Isaac Newton, Edmond Halley and  Charles Messier and few of the most famous astronomers in the history.
